Join us as we share the latest updates from our monthly releases. The update includes new and improved integrations in jurisdictions, such as the additional Ultimate Beneficial Owner Register for France and Sweden and on top of that, improvements to our core products: KYC API and Developer Portal.
Important announcements
Documentation on KYC API
brex.io domain closure
Our monitoring systems have identified that some systems continue to connect to our old domain, brex.io. Please note that this domain is scheduled for discontinuation on the 5th of March 2025. Therefore, we recommend transitioning from https://brex.io URL to our primary domain, https://api.kompany.com.
Security and performance enhancements for Web / KYC API Service
In the pursuit of constant quality and security improvements of our services and products we kindly ask your acceptance and understanding of the following setup change affecting our Web/ KYC API Service:
On the 17th of March 2025 we will introduce Cloudflare into our setup for web application firewalling as well as security and performance enhancement. See here for more information.
New and enhanced integrations
Country Coverage
- France FR
We are pleased to announce that, following the integration of Germany’s Transparenzregister (Transparency Register) in December, we have now also integrated France’s INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle) UBO Registers into our compliance coverage. These additions significantly enhance our ability to provide Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) data, but they also introduce new access requirements that differ from our other UBO connections. - Sweden SE
Furthermore, our integration with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) now provides access to data on Swedish beneficial owners, making it our 10th UBOR jurisdiction. This data is available via the enhanced endpoint in KYC API, and as a Beneficial Owners Check document in the original language on both kompany.com and KYC API.
- United States US – Montana MT
We are happy to announce our new API connection with the Montana Secretary of State, which replaces our previous connection. This integration offers improved and more reliable data provision, encompassing a comprehensive dataset, henceforth. Please be advised that this connection is updated monthly and will be completely available in the coming weeks.
- United States US – Arizona AZ , Maryland MD , Maine ME
In addition to the new connections mentioned above, we have revised and implemented improvements in the following jurisdictions: Our connection to the Maryland Department of Assessments & Taxation, the Maine Secretary of State, t and the Arizona Corporation Commission.
- United Kingdom UK
We are excited to announce the implementation of several improvements to our UK register connection. These changes include enhancing our status and status mapping, ensuring that officers who have resigned are no longer displayed, and incorporating the officer role and occupation fields. Additionally, we resolved data quality issues and addressed inconsistencies within addresses by aligning them with the UK register format. Please find more information here.
Product improvements
API
- Introducing estmatedDeliverySeconds feature on KYC API
This field can be found in the response of the POST Dataset order and GET Dataset retrieval endpoints, as well as in the POST Enhanced and POST Product order and the coverage endpoint. Please find more detailed information here.
- Parameter validation on POST endpoints
We have restricted the validation to our KYC API v2 POST endpoints with the change resulting in a 400 error with the message “Invalid parameter detected: ‘{input}’. Please check the documentation” if invalid parameters (e.g. “apple”) are included, whereas previously it returned a 200 status avoiding the parameter. See here for more details.
Developer Portal
Developer Portal Front-End Updates
We have redesigned the discover page and improved the proposition in DevPortal to align with Moody’s corporate identity and enhance the user experience. For an example, please refer to the newly created page on error messages here.

New and enhanced country integration
- Luxemburg LU
A new connection to the Luxembourg register is currently being developed, aimed at enhancing stability and improving response rates.
- Isle of Man IM
In addition to our coverage of Luxembourg, we are planning to expand our services to include a new connection to the Isle of Man Companies Registry.
- Colombia CO
A new connection to the Colombian register Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá is currently being developed.
- China CN
In addition to our coverage of Colombia, we are planning to expand our services to include a new connection to The National Enterprise Credit Information (NECI) in China.
